SANTA will make a pit stop in Flagstone on December 8 to help the community celebrate the start of the festive season.
The jolly man in the red suit will join the Flagstone Community Association in staging its first Christmas carols event for the community, which will kick off from 5pm at the Flagstone State Community College oval.
Amusements including a jumping castle, a rock wall and a cup and saucer ride will be open to children from 5pm until 6.30pm.
The carols will begin from 6.30pm, with all invited to attend.
Flagstone Community Association president Bob Wiley said the group was excited to be taking the reigns of the community event for the first time this year.
“We are continuing the tradition of carols in Flagstone,” he said.
“The Christmas spirit is Flagstone, come along and get involved.”
Entry to the event is free.
