A SCARY family fundraiser will be held in Jimboomba this Halloween.
Chicks Conquering Cancer (CCC) is inviting youth and their families to come and fill a Halloween showbag at Jimboomba’s Fusion Retro Emporium from 10am on Saturday, October 31.
The CCC Halloween Party will raise funds for cancer patients and their families in the Jimboomba community, with a percentage of all sales on the day going towards the charity.
CCC president Kathy Smith said the event was a great option for families looking to do something together on Halloween.
“Get in the spirit of Halloween, get dressed up and come down for a good time,” she said.
“It’s a fun way to celebrate Halloween in a safe environment.”
The event will run until 4pm, with face painting, music and games, raffles and other activities on offer.
