ABLE Australia Jimboomba Caddies is in desperate need for more volunteers to provide vital services for the community.
Volunteer support officer Brenda Fielding said demand was increasing across the board for Caddies' services which cater for youth, the elderly, the disabled and disadvantaged families in the Jimboomba area.
"As a volunteer, you will play a vital role in ensuring these services are delivered, while gaining the personal satisfaction of knowing you are making a real difference to someone's life," she said.
Ms Fielding said the organisation's greatest need is for volunteer drivers, kitchen staff and a caretaker but other roles are also available.
She said no experience is necessary as all volunteers are offered training and support to gain the skills they need.
"If you are interested in volunteering and can spare one or two days a week to help out, we would be very pleased to talk to you," Ms Fielding said.
Volunteer receptionist and kitchen hand Sharon Barnett said she always looked forwards to her shifts at Caddies.
"I love it, it's just keeping me busy and learning, it's a lovely place," she said.
"It's helping me to come out of my shell."
