A CYCLIST was seriously injured in a suspected hit and run at Jimboomba on Wednesday.
The man was riding his bike on Teviot Road, Jimboomba just after noon when he was allegedly struck by a vehicle near the intersection of Cusack Lane.
Police say there were no eye witnesses to the accident.
The man was treated by paramedics on the side of the road before he was taken by ambulance to Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane in a serious but stable condition.
He was conscious at the scene but has no memory of the accident, which has left him with suspected neck and head injuries.
Several passersby stopped to render assistance to the man including off duty Logan Central Sergeant Peter Anderson-Barr who was returning from an award ceremony.
