The information night will be held from 6pm to 7pm at Park Ridge State High School and is open to 13 to 18 year olds and their parents to find out more about what being a cadet is all about.
Flying officer (AAFC) Brett McDonaugh said there were still plenty of places left this year for new recruits to join the squadron.
He said potential new recruits at the information night would hear from one of last year's recruits as well as a cadet who had finished the program.
"We focus on developing the cadets in various fields and find they gain a lot of confidence," Mr McDonaugh said.
"A lot of the cadets by the end of their first year will be on the verge of making leading cadet, which is their first promotion.
"As they move on the cadets get the opportunity to lead and command, as well as follow, and the feedback from the kids is that they all enjoy that."
The AAFC is a community based youth development organisation sponsored by the Royal Australian Air Force.
The 214 Park Ridge squadron will hold another information night on June 27 from 6pm to 7pm at Park Ridge State High School, 14 Lancewood Street, Park Ridge.
