Emergency services are on scene at a fire in North Maclean where a shed and vehicles have been engulfed by flames.
Ten fire crews were attending to the blaze on Greenbank Road, near Willowbrook Road, which started at 11.30am.
A Queensland Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said the current conditions required a number of crews to be on scene in case the situation changed.
“A grass fire was contained, but a shed was still involved on scene,” the spokesperson said.
“Fire crews used breathing apparatus and were still fighting the structure fire at 2pm.”
The dangerously dry and windy conditions have caused a total fire ban to be in place during September 14.
It is unknown how the fire began.
Grass Fire
Two fire crews also attended a small grass fire at Stockleigh.
The incident was on the intersection of Alfred and Hawkins roads at 1.30pm and was under control by 2pm.
