Sydney's Maybe Sammy and Cantina OK are among world's best bars

Two Sydney bars have just been ranked among 50 Best Bars of the World.

Maybe Sammy has done it again. After winning countless awards over the years, the Sydney cocktail bar has once again established itself as Australia's best after being ranked No. 29 on the just-released 50 Best Bars of the World list.

Renowned for showstopping concoctions - from heady vintage favourites like Negronis and Martinis to envelope-pushing creations such as the tequila and coffee liqueur-infused Dancing Queen - Maybe Sammy in The Rocks is Australia's top entry on the list, followed by another sensational Sydney watering hole, Cantina OK in the CBD, at No. 41.

While no other Australian bars made it to the top 50, Melbourne's Caretaker's Cottage established itself as Victoria's best after being ranked No. 60 on the extended 100 best bars of the world list.
