Taste your way along the Central Coast Makers Trail
The weekend sport gaining traction post-pandemic is trail hiking, and the NSW Central Coast has caught on and introduced hiking with a twist.
The new Central Coast Makers Trail leads hikers of all abilities on an experiential journey through the region’s best artisan producers.
There is everything from pearl farmed at the Hawkesbury’s Broken Bay Pearl Farm to Firescreek botanical wine tasting.
Hit the sweet spot with chocolates from The Chocolate Factory or round off your walk with the award-winning cheeses from Little Creek.
To work it off, visitors can also experience behind-the-scenes tours encouraging hands-on interaction with foraging workshops, Aboriginal storytelling and more.
