Families flocked to Flagstone when Mondaze held its largest car meet, the Saturdaze Big Night Out on July 30.
Vehicles ranging from motorcycles to ex-military tanks were displayed while live music, kids' rides and a sausage sizzle by the Flagstone Men's Shed meant that everyone was well-fed and well entertained.
Event organiser Jae Martin said it had been a long road to holding the event, which was originally due to be held in 2021, but he was glad to see the payoff.
"It's definitely been a process," Mr Martin said.
"It's great seeing it all coming together now."
One of the car owners displaying their pride and joy was Owen from Bahrs Scrub, who brought along his red Holden Commodore.
Owen said his car was completely stock under the bonnet but he was inspired to make the outside a homage to Lightning McQueen from the Pixar film Cars, which drew a crowd of young children.
"I went to see the movie in 2006," he said.
"As soon as I left the cinema I thought to myself 'I'm gonna do this'."
As well as manning the barbecue the Flagstone Men's Shed had also set up a stall to sell their wares and run a raffle, which included items donated by local businesses including Bee All Natural, Subway Flagstone and Vigor Physio and Health Jimboomba.
Vice president at the shed Danny said the group had been astounded by the amount of support shown by the community.
"We've had a lot of donations," he said.
"We've had an unbelievable amount of support from the community, and the amount of people who want us is incredible."
Mondaze hosts its regular Saturdaze car meets on the last Saturday of every month, from 4:30pm.
Flagstone Men's Shed is also welcoming new members, holding a monthly meet and greets at Cafe Flagstone, as well as meetings on the third Thursday of every month.
The next Men's Shed meet and greet is on August 4 from 10am, and for more details join the group on Facebook.
