RATHDOWNEY Memorial Grounds were packed on Sunday as people turned up in droves for the Easter community markets.
There were plenty of bunny ears in evidence as children paused at the main entrance to have their faces painted.
It was a perfect day with no rain on the horizon and temperatures relatively cool.
Food trucks and coffee vans did a roaring trade as the markets proved to be a crowd magnet with families travelling from JImboomba, the Redlands, Brisbane and the Gold Coast to join Scenic Rim locals in a celebration of a long weekend no longer hampered by COVID-19 restrictions.
Stallholders were also kept busy selling handcrafted wares and local produce to enthusiastic customers.
The Easter bunny even made an appearance, with plenty of chocolate eggs on offer.
