Logan District Crime Prevention Unit would like residents to join them in 'turning the screws on crime'.
They want to have free anti-theft screws fitted to residents vehicle registration plates by members of the Queensland Police Service.
Using anti-theft screws on a vehicle's registration plates can help prevent them from being stolen.
The Queensland Police Service encourages the use of anti-theft screws to deter thieves.
The event is taking place on Saturday, January 22 from 9am to 11am at Underwood Bunnings, Compton Road, Underwood.
