QUEENSLAND emergency services have pulled out all the stops in a concerted effort to find police dog Quiz after he went missing earlier this week.
Scenic Rim SES volunteers have joined the search in scrubland at Redbank Plains along with members of the community, the army and QFES personnel.
Firefighters from Beaudesert Fire Station also chipped in to help find the highly trained police employee.
Police said Quiz was last seen about 8am on Tuesday when chasing a suspect with his handler.
He was spotted on Old Ipswich Road at Riverview, heading into bushland.
Police said information from the community suggested he may still be around Riverview, Collingwood Park, New Chum or Redbank Plains.
"Please check your yards and local area, including talking to your neighbours, for any sign of him," they said.
"Anyone who sees PD Quizz, or a similar dog, is encouraged to take a photo or video and call Policelink immediately on 131 444 - please do not assume someone else has."
SES members from the Scenic Rim currently involved in the search include three members from Beaudesert and one from Boonah.
