A person has been rescued from floodwater at Biddaddaba this afternoon after their car was reportedly washed off a flooded road.
Swift-water rescue firefighters were called in to retrieve one person after the incident about 12.25pm.
They found a motorist clinging to a tree in floodwater off Armstrong Road.
Two occupants of the car had made their way to safety, police said, in the incident which happened near Chantelle Place.
Police said the car had been washed off the flooded bridge.
The person in the water was rescued by 1.25pm, Queensland Fire and Emergency Services said.
The rescued person was assessed at the scene, but did not require hospital treatment.
QAS said they could not confirm the age or gender of the rescued person.
