The cars included a 1926 Ford Model T, owned by Phillip Schultz of Cedar Vale, which was judged as most desirable car to have a ride In.
Mr Schultz was a favourite with the kids as he told them you could cook cakes or a roast chicken on the top of the Model T's engine as you were driving along.
Various 1930s Chevrolets, Fords and Dodge hot rods were on show, as well as a 1936 Plymouth.
There was a 1955 Morris Woody Wagon, complete with surfboards, as well as Austins, Holdens, Fords and Valiants.
Car club president Peter Cotter said the turnout was strong.
"We had two members using crowd control counters and, as well as the 157 vehicles, they counted in almost 500 people," Mr Cotter said.
He said there were plenty more chances for car loves to take part in days like it.
"It's on every second Sunday morning each month, and everyone is welcome to peruse the cars at no cost whatsoever," Mr. Cotter said.
Division 9 councillor Scott Bannan, who was instrumental in getting the car event to Jimboomba Sports Park, said the quality of the vehicles on show was outstanding.
The next Jimboomba Cars 'n' Coffee is from 7.30am on Sunday, November 12.
