SOUTH-EAST Queensland is bracing for a wet week, with the Weather Bureau forecasting rain to lash the region over coming days.
Redlands, Beaudesert and Logan could see significant falls up to 35mm on Thursday and 30mm on Friday, while there is also the chance of thunderstorms throughout the week.
Meteorologist Helen Kirkup said there would be relief from the wet weather on Monday night and Tuesday before a soggy end to the working week.

"We are expecting showers and thunderstorms across a broad area of Queensland today," she said.
"In the south-east, some of these thunderstorms could develop into severe thunderstorms.
"Heavy bursts or rain, damaging winds and hail are all possible."
Rain is expected to clear late on Friday and into the weekend as a high-pressure system pushes drier air across the state.
Ms Kirkup said the rainfall peak would likely be on Thursday, where there is a near 100 per cent chance of showers for Redlands, Logan and Beaudesert.
"We expect these showers and thunderstorms to continue right through the week," she said.
"Regularly check the warnings page for severe weather and flood warnings, as well as checking the Queensland traffic site for road condition information."
Beaudesert copped 17.4mm of rain in the 24 hours to 9am this morning, Redlands 11.6mm and Logan 10.4mm.
