Comedians Lindsay Webb and Dan Willis bring their unique brand of humour to the Calamvale Hotel from 8pm on Saturday, October 23.
Webb is a regular guest on Wil Andersons Tofop and also on the Dollop podcasts as well as having his own entitled What's Your Name, What do you Do? He has also hosted corp podcasts for BP Australia and a number 1 breakfast show on 91.9 Sea FM from 2001 to 2005.
He does regular guest appearances on Stand up Australia, Good News Week and the Footy Show.
He has supported Jim Jeffries, Brad Garret, Martin Short, Wayne Brady, Jimeoin and was a guest comic on The Darren Sanders Show. He has worked as a festival touring act since 2006, including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Adelaide Fringe Fest, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, NZ International Comedy Festival, Indianapolis Fringe Festival, World Buskers Fest Christchurch, Brisbane Comedy Festival, Wonderland, Falls Festival, Coffs Buskers Fest and Canberra Comedy Festival.
Dan Willis made the move from computer programmer to full time comedian and now has appeared in more than 3000 gigs in 11 different countries.
At the 2012 Edinburgh Fringe Willis performed six one-hour shows a day for a month, repeating no jokes, breaking comedy world records and cementing himself as the single most experienced festival act in history. While most comedians do about six shows a week at a festival, Willis averages aout 30, thus holding a large number of records and having a swag of comic material.
As well as straight stand-up, Willis also performs specialist comedy shows, covering computers, zombies, music, Ferris Bueller, Michael Jackson and life in general.
