Police are appealing to the public to help locate the owner of a valuable jewellery set.
Police said a Logan Central pawnbroker kept the set, consisting of a necklace, two pairs of earrings and a bracelet, when two women entered and tried to sell him the stolen items in November 2020.
Police arrested a woman at a Wilsonton Heights address, near Toowoomba, on January 29.
The 34-year-old Wilsonton Heights woman was found guilty of attempted fraud and fined $400 by the Toowoomba Magistrates Court.
Police are still looking for the jewellery's owner, and are urging anyone who recognises it to come forward.
Proof of ownership will be required
