A host of Jimboomba gymnasts are representing their local club next week at the junior state titles on the Gold Coast.
It is the largest contingent Jimboomba has ever sent to the titles at Metricon Stadium.
The 12-strong team eclipses Jimboomba's previous record of 11.
They have battled lockdowns, which brought about breaks in community sport, and training over Zoom to still qualify for the titles.
"They've done really well to qualify, given we've had all these lockdowns," the club's women's artistic gymnastics program manager, Shalana Adrain, said.
"It's pretty good for a little regional club.
"They were back three weeks and then regionals were on."
The titles kick off on Monday and run until Friday.
The girls will hope to emulate the success of Daniela Novak and Leonie Meadlarkin, who returned from the regionals with medals.
The club is always looking for new members. Find the club on Facebook or Instagram.
