Fun day out
Logan Gardens and Water Park will host NAIDOC celebrations on Tuesday, September 21. The family fun day out runs from 9am-2.30pm and includes music, stalls, food, rides and dancing.
Fish for fun
Council is inviting local anglers to fish for pest species like carp and tilapia during a family friendly event on Saturday, September 18. Prizes will be up for grabs at the free event, which will be held from 7am-1pm at Demeio Park, Berrinba. Register at Eventbrite.
Plant a tree
Consider yourself a bit of a green thumb? Council is inviting locals to support Bushcare's Big Day Out on September 25 at Mundoolun Park. Everyone is welcome and a free morning tea will be on offer. Volunteers will help plant 1500 plants, trees and shrubs. No registration is required. The event runs from 8am-10am.
A twilight market and Halloween trick or treating will be held at Flagstone State School on October 30. The event kicks off at 5pm. There will be live music, food, market stalls and trick or treating.
