"QAS officers have been trained to assist and support Queensland Health and local health and hospital Services with COVID-19 testing and rapidly deploy to areas of need," Deputy Commissioner Emery said.
"We operated a 24-hour clinic at the same site during January's lockdown and our officers this morning moved back in and we're encouraging everyone who has any symptoms to please get tested as soon as possible and remain isolated until a result is returned or until any required quarantine period is over.
"Swift testing is imperative to contain potential outbreaks and reduce further spread of known clusters."
The Eight Mile Plains Community Health Centre at 51 McKechnie Drive will be open until 10pm today, then re-open tomorrow from 7am and continue 24-hour operation until required.
This is a walk-in clinic with no booking or GP referral needed and children from 12 months and older can be tested.
