LOGAN libraries will give residents tips on how to reduce household food waste at special information session at Jimboomba.
The budget-friendly meal-planning session is on Saturday, September 18, from 10.30am-12pm.
There are also sessions set down for Marsden and Beenleigh libraries.

Green Living Australia's Valerie Pearson will give advice on organising healthy meals, including how to shop better, store food and use everything that has been purchased.
Reducing food wastage not only helps save money, it can also lead to a reduction in the amount of meat consumed which can be good for economic and health reasons.
The sessions do not include cooking demonstrations but will cover meal planning, shopping lists, using leftovers and the best ways to package and store meals.
Everyone attending the sessions will develop a meal plan and create their own shopping list.
A list of online resources and library books has been compiled and will be shared to assist in preparing budget-friendly and healthy meals.

Green Living Australia was established to provide access to home-made products that are free of preservatives, additives and chemicals.
It is based at Underwood.
Beenleigh Library's session is on from 1pm to 2.30pm on Saturday, August 14.
The session at Marsden Library is on from 1.30pm to 3pm on Saturday, September 18.
