FOUR Timothy Martin goals were not enough to get Jimboomba Redbacks over the line against Morningside Panthers in AFL Queensland action on Friday night.
The Redbacks lost 7.7 (49) to 8.13 (61) at Jack Esplen Oval as the top-of-the-table Panthers kicked away in the second half.

The bulk of the damage was done in the third quarter, where the Panthers booted three goals and three behinds to the Redbacks' single point.
Up until then, the Redbacks had taken it to the hosts, leading by a point at the first break, then three at half-time.
Timothy Cahill (2 goals) and Bryce Tomlinson joined Martin on the scoresheet.
The win left Morningside at the top of the table and Jimboomba in fifth. In between the two are Sherwood, Zillmere and Mayne.
The Redbacks have a bye this weekend, before taking on Mayne at Glenlogan Park on May 21.
The women's team continued its strong run in season 2021, smashing Surfers Paradise at Sir Bruce Small Park.
Jimboomba won 7.5 (47) to 2.0 (12) as their early season domination continued on Saturday night.
Jamie-Lea Ellis booted five goals for Jimboomba. Jasmine Fretwell and Rosanna Vidoni each bagged majors for the visitors.
Narelle Smith picked up six best on ground points, followed by Jess Pickles (5), Phoebe Balmforth (4), Elli D'Arcy Parker (3), Ellis and Fretwell.
Up until the weekend's match, Jimboomba had not conceded a single point.
