POLAIR crews will watch over Logan's car thieves and missing people for at least another two years in news which was welcomed by local officers.
Queensland Police extended its partnership with Surf Life Saving Queensland to supply PolAir choppers until July 2024.
The choppers are frequently in the skies over Logan, helping officers on the ground chase car thieves.
Jimboomba police said it was great news.

"We are very excited that the partnership is continuing, enabling PolAir to be our eyes in the sky," Sergeant Lawrie Catterson said.
"They assist with the co-ordinated police response to catch car thieves, and they help us with missing people."
Police commissioner Katarina Carroll said PolAir's 24-hour, 365-day services had a reputation for supporting frontline police.
"With the capabilities of PolAir and our dedicated tactical flight officers, PolAir is delivering safety outcomes for officers and the community on a daily basis."
The government will soon begin the tender process for a contract beyond 2024. It will soon call for registrations of interest.
