THE Kooralbyn Valley has announced the postponement of the Copperhead Rodeo scheduled for this weekend at the resort.
The two-day event, the first of it's kind in four years, was to take place on March 19-20 at The Kooralbyn Valley resort with a range of activities planned.
Events manager Crystal Bazley said the 2021 Copperhead Rodeo was planned as a family friendly event with something for all ages, but safety issues relating to predicted rain caused a rethink.
"It was a really tough decision but we had to consider the safety of our patrons and all the animals involved," she said.
"It was just to dangerous to go ahead with it."
Ms Beazley said there were already a couple of new dates being considered, with the event to be rescheduled hopefully within the next few months.
She said anyone who had already bought tickets could use them on the new date.
