THE funds have been tallied and the money is in.
Jimboomba's cricket fundraiser, Pink Stumps Day in aid of the McGrath Foundation raised a whopping $33018.56
The day held at Glenlogan Park was to raise funds to aid breast cancer patients across Australia.
Organisers Rodney Teese and Scott Bannan aimed to blow last year's $10,000 target out of the water by raising $15,000 in 2021.
But this year it went beyond their expectations.
"We destroyed it.
"Our big hearted community is so amazing, I couldn't be prouder, to be a part of this incredible community," Mr Bannan said.
He said next year would be even bigger.
Mr Teese and Mr Bannan said the cricket was secondary to the fundraising cause, but they both claimed victory for their teams on the night.
"The real winner on the night was the community and the McGrath Foundation," Mr Teese said.
