GROUND staff are working overtime at Glenlogan Park to ensure this weekend's Pink Stumps Day fundraiser goes ahead.
The covers have been on most of the week and the juniors fixtures tomorrow morning have been moved to synthetic wickets so the main game can get on in the afternoon.
Jimboomba Bushrangers president Rodney Teese said the club was playing the waiting game, and praying to the weather gods, for tomorrow afternoon to roll around.
"We've had a good shower of rain this morning, but the covers have been on since Tuesday," he said.
"The sun's out at the moment and there is a bit of a breeze. Fingers crossed mother nature will be kind to us."
The main game tomorrow afternoon gets underway at 4pm. Former Test players Ryan Harris and Michael Kasprowicz are playing in the fundraiser for the McGrath Foundation.
Former tearaway quick, Jeff Thomson, will mingle with punters. Jimmy Maher will join him.
A coaching clinic will soon begin at Glenlogan Park.
Teese's Jimboomba team will take on Division 9 councillor Scott Bannan's All Stars at the match.
Organisers hope to raise $15,000 for the cause.
Bannan said it would be a good night, regardless of how the cricket goes.
"At the end of the day, if it's pouring rain, people can just go into the clubhouse and have a few beers, tell stories and have a laugh," he said.
