A BETHANIA man faces serious assault charges after an incident at Logan earlier this month, and police are appealing for more information from the public.
The man, 23, has been charged with acts intended to maim, discharge of a weapon in a public place, possessing dangerous drugs and explosives (ammunition), possessing property suspected to be involved in a drug offence and possession of drug utensils.
He appeared in Beenleigh Magistrates Court yesterday. He was remanded in custody and is next due to appear on March 3.
Detectives continue their appeal for witnesses or footage from Logan Reserve on the evening of Wednesday, January 20.
A silver Holden Commodore SS utility bearing Queensland registration GEEES, which detectives believe is relevant to the investigation, has not been located.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the vehicle is encouraged to contact police.
