In October the club hosted its annual awards night. It was scheduled for early April but postponed, along with the remainder of the swim season, due to COVID-19.
The night celebrated the club's age champions and special award recipients for the 2019-2020 swimming season.
Most improved senior was Tyger Cervenjak, while most improved junior went to Kai Bidgood.
Leila Alexander picked up the spirit award and Dylan Beulah won the encouragement award.
Coaches gave their award to Aoibhe Kerrigan.
A club spokeswoman said the season had been a success.
"In reflection, the 2019-20 swim season was GGSC's most successful yet, with an increased number of swimmers qualifying for Brisbane premiership meets," the spokeswoman said.
"Lots of medals were picked up at district and regional meets, and school swimming representation was achieved to district, regional and even state level for one of our junior swimmers.
Eleven of our gators have also been honoured by Swimming Australia with junior excellence awards for the 2019-20 swimming season, with Isla Brimble picking up a silver level award."
While club night is winding down for Christmas, the club welcomes all interested swimmers to come along for a try out in 2021.
Gates open at 5.45pm every Tuesday in term 1 at the club's pool at 24-36 Goodna Road, for new swimmer registration.
