WITH scores tied down to the last ball of the match, the weekend's clash between Crafty Tappers and Beauy Bucheurs in Last Man Stands cricket was a nailbiter.

Bucheurs won the toss and batted first, scoring 161 from their 20 overs.

With 50 from 31, Sammy Matthews was supported by an impressive 42 from 18 from Craig Whatmore.

The Tappers innings started slowly, but after the loss of an early wicket, the runs flowed.

Jake Burns' 53 from 40 and a final innings from Harwinder Sidhu with 52 from 21 helped the Tappers to a win.

Purple People Eaters had no trouble defeating Duck Duck Gone, who lost three early wickets.

A recovery mission lead by Connor Roberts with 60 from 46 gave them some sort of total to bowl at, with 125 on the board.

Craig Stace was the pick of the bowlers, with two for 12 from three overs.

Purple People Eaters were never really in trouble as they chased the total down with 11 balls to spare. Matt Turbill hit his first half century in more than a year, scoring 50 from 31. Luke Harding picked up two wickets for the Ducks.

After their first loss of the season last weekend, Test Eagles continued their dominance of Division 2 with a 66 run victory over Odd Bunch.

With David Poole, Rob Pearce and Jamie Braithwaite making half centuries, Test Eagles amassed 212 from their 20 overs.

Fresh off his selection in the south-east Under 18 representative team, Luke Boettcher was in the runs with 50 from 26.

It was not enough for the Odd Bunch, as David Poole took two wickets and Test Eagles won again.

No Limits batter Gary Bender scored his first half century in the competition against Middle Stumped, helping his team amass 157 from their 20 overs. Sandro Santo lent a hand with a quick fire 47 from 20.

Middle Stumped took it to the last over to score the winning runs, as Adam Godfrey scored 52 from 32 and Aaron Day 47 from 23.

The Cane Toads scored their first season win, cruising to victory by seven wickets against the Trouble Makers.

Trouble Makers batted first and ended their innings on 133 from 20 overs, with Daniel Montgomery scoring 50 from 30.

David Sheehan was a Cane Toads standout, with four tidy overs and a wicket.
