THE South-East Queensland All Breeds Spring Show was well attended on Friday.
Competitors, supporters, sponsors and local leaders turned up to watch Judge Lindsay Marshall from Yurunga Farm at Blighty inspect the cattle as they were paraded around the paddock at the Beaudesert Showground.
The show was the brainchild of local dairyman Rodney Teese and as the only all breed cattle show in Queensland this year, the event attracted competitors from near and far.
There was an air of show day, with children and adults alike enjoying a warm winters day in the Scenic Rim.
Federal MP for Wright, Scott Buchholz and Scenic Rim MP Jon Krause turned up to congratulate the winners, with representatives from corporate sponsors including QDO, Arthy Rural Services, The Bank of Queensland Jimboomba branch, Seed Force and Williams Group Australia were also on hand to present prizes to the winners.
Champion of Champions was declared as Waylon Barron's Holstein ArdylBar Atwood Gladys from Cambooya on the Darling Downs.
