A Yarrabilba school will build a new library with a state government grant to help the kids' learning.
The money will also allow for four new educationa areas at St Clare's Primary School.
St Clare's received money from the Non-State Schools Capital Assistance Program, and Logan MP Linus Power was in the classroom to deliver the news.
""St Clare's is a great local school and I am excited to see them receive this funding," he said.
"This funding will be used to begin many exciting new projects and upgrades that will benefit the St Clare's community.
"St Clare's will build a new library, which will create a new learning hub for students, as well as four new general learning areas."
An administration building will turn into a technology area, and the school's current library will be used for administration and learning support.
Principal Michael McInerney welcomed the funding for his students.
"Our new library is going to help foster the love of reading that is so important for our kids' growth and give us the modern facilities that our kids deserve," Mr McInerney said.
