EIGHT Logan locals who have been in a Lotto syndicate for 30 years have won a share in the first prize in Saturday's draw.
Each entry won a division one prize of $1,047,835.76.
The winning syndicate was sold at AUR Express Woodridge. All the winners are from Woodridge.
AUR Express Woodridge manager Laraine Hannequin said the syndicate had won plenty of prizes over the years but nothing like this.
"We've been running this syndicate every week for around 30 years. We're incredibly pleased," she said.
"Five of the eight syndicate members are regulars who have a share every week, and we can't wait to break the news to them.
"They are all locals and all so deserving, so we are incredibly thrilled."
The winning numbers were 11, 18, 1, 17, 42 and 34, while the supplementary numbers were 19 and 43.
There were five division one winning entries - three from Victoria and one each from Queensland and Western Australia.
