A Nissan Navara which was taken from Glenlogan Estate is on a list of stolen cars police are appealing for the public's help in finding this week.

The silver Navara carries 535-XIJ number plates, and is among cars taken from across Logan.

A white Toyota Camry with 971-ZPC plates was stolen from Slacks Creek, and a silver Holden Commodore with 054-ZVU registration went missing from Shailer Park.

A police spokesman urged anyone with information about the vehicles to phone Policelink on 131 444 or use the online suspicious activity form on its website.

Concerned residents can also call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

The spokesman said people should consider installing car alarms, and never hide spare keys in their vehicles, even when parked in a secure garage.

"Always lock your vehicle, even when at home," the spokesman said.

"Always take your vehicle keys with you whenever you are going out, even if you are leaving your vehicle at home.

"Always lock your screens, doors and garages even when you are home. Sneak offences occur when people are home and vehicles can be stolen without your knowledge."
