Jimboomba's top cop has warned the town's venues and citizens to continue to be wary of the coronavirus threat.
Senior Sergeant Peter Waugh warned pubs and clubs that his officers would continue to check venues to ensure they were complying with social distancing guidelines.
His warning comes after 185 people were sought for leaving self-isolation too soon after entering Queensland.
Senior Sergeant Waugh said being complacent with measures now could have disastrous consequences for the state, despite Queensland appearing to be on the front foot against the spread.
"With spikes in Victoria and NSW, we are urging Queenslanders to continue to be compliant, and that includes enforcing social distancing," he said.
"We will continue to look at pubs and clubs to make sure they are doing the right thing.
"If we drop the ball on it, it could be a disaster for the state as we did so well with the virus."
