Hills College takes an all-encompassing approach to the education of its students and from Prep, students are taught to not only learn, but to question aspects of, and delve deeper into what they are being taught.

This is strengthened by the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program 'Units of Inquiry', which educates students in analysing and understanding all views of each topic.

As a small school of around 500 students, middle and secondary school students are given opportunities to direct their learning and recreation towards their own areas of interest, which has been found to produce better interaction and participation.

As they reach their senior years of schooling, Hills College students continue to show their teachers, families and the wider Jimboomba Community that they are developing into community-focused, caring and compassionate members of society who are striving to teach leadership to their younger peers, while reaching for their own academic goals.

And as a result of their ongoing forward thinking, Hills College and its students have been leading the way in online learning in comparison to many other schools who were not set up for this platform.

Hills College families have enjoyed online communication for a few years now, so everyone was comfortable with the access to the online learning platform that made their remote study easier for students and their families.
