Logan City Council will undertake a survey of a dangerous section of one of its busiest roads after a meeting with residents.
A fatal accident last month, where a man died and a woman was left in a critical condition after a car rollover, and another accident involving a mother and child led to a meeting between concerned residents, councillors and road staff, including roads director Daryl Ross.

They are concerned with a sharp bend between Kenny Flat Road the Pleasant View Road intersection, the scene of many smashes.
Division 9 councillor Scott Bannan said a full investigation would take place, considering speed limit and the road's design.
"I know there is an obvious problem with that corner, especially with the slippery surface when it rains," Cr Bannan said.
"There's a bit of a hump when you come into it.
"We had the roads director at the meeting. The staff we had there indicates we are taking it seriously."
An earlier accident last month prompted the meeting, when a woman and her child where involved in a head-on, reportedly on the way to school.
