Visitors to a cent auction at Regents Park can help raise some much needed funds for a vital community service.
The event on July 18 aims to raise money for the Upper Room Crisis Centre at Estramina House.
The charity provides free food, clothes, books and furniture for vulnerable people, and raises its own funds.
It also hosts a friendship group for women, who gather and have a chat over coffee every week.

Tickets to July 18's auction cost $5. You get a light lunch and five tickets, along with a lucky door prize ticket.
The event is on at Estramina House, 10-14 Estramina Road, Regents Park.
The event gets underway at 12.30pm, and volunteer co-ordinator Cathy Bunn said participants could expect to have a good time.
"it's a lot of fun because I carry on like a clown," Mrs Bunn said.
"It's about the interaction between people."
There are plenty of prizes up for grabs, with glassware, board games, puzzles and clothes to win.
COVID-19 has played havoc with the monthly fundraiser for the centre, which has been operating for 21 years.
It is a vital fundraiser, Mrs Bunn said.
"We can bring in $500 in the cent auction," she said.
"We have always raised our own money for funds.
"We accept donations and can provide receipts for tax deductions."
She said the service aimed to help anyone who came to its door.
