Good spell: Merv Buys took five wickets on Sunday.

Dentist Merv Buys sunk his teeth into his opposition's batting line-up on the weekend, taking five wickets for No Limits B in Last Man Stands cricket.

Buys' stunning spell helped his team to restrict Jimby Crickets to just 7-100 from 20 overs at Glenlogan Park.

No Limits won by six wickets, with Sandro Santo making 47.

Lumberjacks avenged last week's loss by beating Borobies by 43 runs at Greenbank.

Lumberjacks lost just one wicket on their way to 165, with Gurdeep Singh Ahitaan making 55 and Jagdeep Randhawa 50.

Jeffrey Teese's 56 wasn't enough to get the Borobies over the line.

Other winners on the day were Crafty Tappers, Purple People Eaters, Duck Duck Gone and Now or Never C.

Ash Chawla and Rahul Gupta belted 50s for Now or Never C, while Ashley Brown scored 52 from 30 balls for Purple People Eaters.

Jake Burns and Gregg Marks made half centuries for Crafty Tappers.
