A man was charged with driving under the influence of drugs after a traffic stop last week in an incident which angered senior police.
The 56-year-old Logan Central man was stopped at South Maclean on Sunday, where he returned a positive drugs test.
The man will front Beaudesert Magistrates Court on September 10.
It comes after a man was caught with drugs during a routine traffic stop at Beenleigh on Friday.
"It is irresponsible behaviour," Jimboomba officer in charge, Senior Sergeant Peter Waugh, said.
"It is putting not only themselves, but other members of the public in danger.
"Jimboomba police officers are taking the opportunity to test as many drivers as we can."
Police find drugs during search
A Jimboomba man will front court next month after police say they found drugs, drug utensils and stolen property during a search of his property.
The man, 28, was charged with possession of a dangerous drug, possession of drugs utensils, possession of restricted drugs and possession of tainted property.
He will appear in Beaudesert Magistrates Court on July 27.
