Huge find: A man faces drugs charges after a routine traffic stop on Friday uncovered $50,000 in substances.
A man will face drugs charges after police allegedly found $50,000 worth of cocaine, methylamphetamine and ecstasy during a routine traffic stop on Friday.
The 27-year-old Cornubia man was stopped in a white Mazda ute on Maranda Street, Shailer Park, just before 7pm.
Police allegedly found almost 130 grams of cocaine in five plastic bags.
They said they also found nearly 30 grams of methylamphetamine in a grocery bag, ecstasy and $1000.
.Police said they believe the drugs have a street value of almost $50,000.
The man will appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on September 16.
Police released video from the stop.
In it, the man can be heard denying he has drugs, before police search him and his vehicle.
