Thieves stole cigarettes, mobile phones, cash, tools and bikes in a series of Browns Plains robberies which police have labelled as abhorrent.
Logan police have released CCTV footage and launched a public appeal for information after the break-ins.
Police are investigating 23 reported break-ins at the commercial retail and business precinct around Grand Plaza shopping centre, Westpoint, Village Square, Commerce Drive and Enterprise Drive.
CCTV footage shows offenders using various instruments to force entry into a number of businesses in the area, along with company vehicles parked in business car parks.
In one incident, a man is shown using a fire extinguisher to smash his way into two vans.
He steals a dashcam, other electronic equipment and a New York Yankees baseball cap.
Two masked intruders steal a trolley load of clothing after smashing their way into a shop in another incident.
Most of the break-ins happened in the commercial precinct in and around Grand Plaza shopping centre, in shops and businesses along Grand Plaza and Commerce Drive, Eastern Road and Enterprise Way.
The break-ins happened between 10pm and 6am. Criminals are targeting weak points in shopfronts including glass entry/exit doors at the front and rear of a shop, or drive-through windows at takeaway outlets.
Acting Sergeant Scott Behnke slammed the criminals' behaviour.
"It's abhorrent that these criminals continue to target small businesses in the area, particularly at a time when the businesses and their staff have faced significant difficulties associated with recent COVID-19 limitations," he said.
"We continue to work with businesses in the area to ensure they safeguard their premises as much as possible, and investigators will continue to look at all avenues to ensure these criminals are caught."
Police urge businesses to be vigilant in security of their respective premises, and to share information about suspicious activity and CCTV footage with police and fellow business owners and body corporate groups.
Logan District Crime Prevention Unit can help with security audits for businesses. Businesses can phone 3382 9670.
Police encourage anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in these areas, or anyone that has any knowledge of these criminal offences and/or the identity of offenders to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
