The Mount Lindesay Highway was reopened in both directions at 9.05am after a serious traffic crash this morning forced the closure of the southbound lane for more than three hours.

EMERGENCY services rushed to the scene of a serious traffic crash early this morning at the intersection of the Mount Lindesay Highway and Allan Creek Road Gleneagle.
The Mount Lindesay Highway southbound lane was closed as a result but police say it will reopen soon.
A spokeswoman for Queensland Fire and Emergency Services said they QFES received the call at 5.45am and arrived to find the driver of a ute had crashed into the back of a stationary truck.
A QAS spokeswoman said the driver of the ute, a man in his 40s, was encapsulated, which meant he was not trapped due to injury but stuck because the door could not be opened.
Three Queensland Ambulance crews including a critical care paramedic were already at the scene after receiving a call at 5.39am.
The accident was designated Code 1- serious or critical, but no further details were available.
The spokeswoman said the man was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital after being released from the vehicle at 6.12am.
A Queensland Police Service spokesman said the southbound lane of the Mount Lindesay Highway was closed about 6am while a heavy haulage tow truck was arranged to move the truck.
Traffic was being diverted to Veresdale Scrub Road.
Police urge anyone who may have witnessed the crash to call Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000 as investigations continue.
