A HOUSE in North Maclean was engulfed by flames last night as firefighters worked to contain the blaze.
Jimboomba, West Logan, Loganlea and Greenbank fire stations responded to the emergency at about 7pm and were able to save a portion of the house.
A spokesman for Jimboomba Fire Station said the cause of the fire was unknown at this stage but was under investigation.
Queensland Ambulance Services were called to the fire at about 6.44pm.
Two patients required treatment from paramedics and were transported in stable conditions for precaution to the Princess Alexandra and Mater Hospitals.
