Residents waited nearly three weeks for the final results in one of the most unusual elections ever held in Queensland.
Early in the count process the ECQ website was plagued with technical issues and counting took longer than usual, due to the large volume of postal votes that were returned.
All 13 councillors will be formally sworn in at a special ceremony tomorrow at the Logan Entertainment Centre. The ceremony is normally open to the public but due to social distancing requirements, there will be no guests invited to the event.
