Police seized drugs, weapons and cash when they closed a six-month operation in Logan and Brisbane yesterday.
Logan Major and Organised Crime Squad officers executed search warrants on nine properties in Brisbane and the south east police region, bringing Operation Sunroof to a close.
Police found 14 kilograms of cannabis, 360 grams of amphetamine, 26 grams of cocaine, MDMA, a taser, $150,000 in stolen machinery, one $80,000 vehicle and $146,230 in cash as proceeds of crime.
Eight people were charged with 52 offences, including a 28 year-old man from Springwood on trafficking in dangerous drugs and receiving tainted property.
The man was due to appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court today. The seven others charged have been bailed to appear in court over the next few months.
"This protracted operation focused on disrupting and dismantling the illegal activities of this local syndicate," Acting Detective Senior Sergeant Gavin Pascoe, of the Logan Major and Organised Crime Squad, said.
"The district will continue to run these types of operations to target the trafficking and supply of drugs to stop crime and make our community safer."
