Logan City Council will not have a government-appointed advisor for its first year of operations, despite Ipswich's councillors receiving extra help.
Ipswich's acting administrator Steve Greenwood will continue his role, but the government said Tamara O'Shea would do the same at Logan City, despite both city's councillors being sacked by Local Government Minister Stirling Hinchcliffe.
Mr Hinchcliffe also charged suspended mayor Luke Smith and seven councillors with integrity offences.
A ministerial spokesman said Logan's council did not have the same issues as Ipswich.
"Logan City Council was dissolved because it didn't have a quorum to make decisions, including passing the annual budget," the spokesman said.
"The Crime and Corruption Commission's investigation did not find a pervasive poor workplace culture and systemic issues, as was the case in Ipswich."
The spokesman said the Logan councillors would receive help in their roles.
"All councillors will be offered a comprehensive induction and access to training programs to ensure they are all up to speed with what's required of them in their new, or returning, roles," the spokesman said.
