A man was in hospital last night after being bitten by a snake at Park Ridge.
The man, in his 40s, was taken to Logan Hospital after he was bitten on the lower leg by the snake.
The incident happened at a private address shortly before 7pm.
It followed another incident earlier this month where a 65-year-old man was hospitalised after being bitten on a toe.
He was taken to Logan Hospital under lights and sirens, but discharged the next day.

Woman falls from balcony
A woman has been hospitalised after a fall at Cedar Vale.
Paramedics were called to the address at 11.58pm.
They took the woman, who had minor head injuries, to Gold Coast University Hospital.
She was in a stable condition.
