Village Fest organisers have issued a plea for sponsors to come on board and allow them to host the second event in Logan.
Platinum, gold, silver and bronze sponsorship deals are still available for local businesses to get behind the festival on August 22.
The not-for-profit festival costs about $70,000 to put on, Chyerl Pridham, from the Logan Country Chamber of Commerce, said sponsors were desperately needed to keep the ticket prices down for punters.
"I could charge $100 per ticket and not worry about the [need for a] major sponsor," Ms Pridham said.
"But we are about keeping it affordable."
She said people did not realise many of the costs involved with the festival at Logan Village Green.
The organisers bring lights, stage and pay for traffic management around the site.
"What people don't understand is, the Village Green doesn't have a lot of infrastructure," Ms Pridham said.
"We bring the lot.
"It's $10,000 just for lights and a stage. Then there are signboards and traffic management - a lot goes into it."
Cash sponsors were needed for the event, Ms Pridham said.
"We are not-for-profit and we don't have ready cash available," she said.
Early bird tickets will cost $30. If you buy a ticket after April 1, it will be $40.
A full afternoon of entertainment is planned. There will be markets and food stalls again this year, as well as a bar.
Kids can have their faces painted.
A bus will be available from Yarrabilba and the Loganlea train station.
"We are being responsible and giving people the opportunity to not drive," Ms Pridham said.
"It does come at a cost to us."
The inaugural festival was a hit last year, with Australian rock legends The Choirboys headlining.
Another big headline act is on the cards this year, but Ms Pridham said she could not yet announce who it was.
Jimboomba band Forever Road will return this year, along with Brisbane-based Bad Neighbours and WTVR WNVR.
Anyone interested in getting on board to support the festival can email president@logancountrychamber.com.au
"If there are any local businesses who want to be involved, we would like to talk to them," Ms Pridham said.
Ms Pridham will send anyone interested a sponsorship pack which outlines the deals.
