A critical care paramedic is being winched down to treat a motorist after at the scene of an accident at Tamborine Mountain this afternoon.
The RACQ LifeFlight chopper has been tasked to the accident on Main Western Road.
One man in the car has head, shoulder, arm, pelvis, and leg injuries.
Two ambulance crews are on the scene, along with Queensland Fire and Emergency Services and Police.

Paramedics are at the scene of a crash at Tamborine Mountain this afternoon.
They are performing a rescue on Main Western Road after a single-vehicle crash down an embankment.
The accident was reported at 1.21pm.
