A home-grown wildlife warrior and a young fundraiser have been named Logan's top citizens.
Annette Bird, founder of Reptile Rehabilitation Queensland, received her Citizen of the Year award at the city's official Logan Australia Day ceremony.
She was joined in the winner's circle by Rochedale South teen Gabrielle Crotty.
Gabrielle has volunteered for the Red Cross, Sheltered by Grace and St Vincent de Paul.
She also coordinated an anti-bullying week at her school.
Administrator Tamara O'Shea said both Annette and Gabrielle had made an enormous contribution to the City of Logan.

"Congratulations to both of them on this recognition," she said.
"Thousands of people in Logan donate their time to causes they are passionate about.
"But the efforts of Annette and Gabriel have stood out among many great examples."
Around 150 people became Australian citizens at the ceremony at the Logan Entertainment Centre on Australia Day.
Annette is currently conducting research into the local habitat of reptiles in the Logan area.
She also has a voluntary conservation agreement on her property with council.
The agreement turns her land into a private conservation area for wildlife.
